Desiree Flores

Desiree is a senior at Paramount High School and has been a student in PUSD since Transitional Kindergarten. Throughout her time in school, she has taken on several leadership roles, including serving as ASB President, FCCLA’s First Vice President, and Paramount High School’s Student Board Representative.

Desiree is passionate about being involved in her school and community. She volunteers whenever she can, participates in multiple clubs and activities, and enjoys supporting school events. Through her leadership and service, she strives to create a positive environment and a strong sense of community among her peers.

Her goal is to attend Columbia University in New York and major in Political Science before pursuing a career as an immigration lawyer. She is passionate about helping others, advocating for minority communities, and standing up for those whose voices are often unheard. Outside of school, Desiree enjoys public speaking, listening to music, and trying new recipes.

Natalie Fregoso

Natalie is currently a senior at Odyssey STEM Academy, after attending Theodore Roosevelt Elementary and Paramount Park Middle School. She is a first-generation student with an aspiration for higher education, which is inspired by her hardworking immigrant parents.

For the past three years, Natalie has served in various leadership roles. She has built a positive and welcoming environment on the OSA campus through clubs like Link Crew and ASB. She currently serves on the School Site Council and as the Vice President of Link Crew. Natalie is an excellent student leader whose passion and commitment to her community makes her the ideal representative for Odyssey’s scholars.

During the summer, she participates in the Cal State Long Beach Upward Bound Trio program. A college readiness program where she tours college campuses, takes college-level classes, and experiences residential life on the CSULB campus. Natalie’s participation in this program further demonstrates her passion, discipline, and long-term commitment to her education. She is passionate about serving others and is honored to fulfill her role as Student Board Member for the Paramount Unified School District.
