Welcome to Paramount Unified School District, where great things are happening. Paramount strives to create a collaborative and supportive environment for our employees so that they may focus on our main goal to serve the needs and interests of our students.

The District is comprised of 20 schools: eleven elementary schools, four middle schools. Paramount High School (9th grade and 10-12 campuses) as well as Odyssey High STEM Academy, Buena Vista Continuation School, and Paramount Adult School. Paramount Unified also has a robust Early Childhood Education program for our youngest learners. District enrollment is approximately 11,500 students, of which 95% are unduplicated.

The district is committed to using resources for high quality instructional programs and school facilities. District wide initiatives focus on instruction that supports literacy, critical thinking, problem solving and safe, orderly and welcoming schools.

Paramount's location affords easy access to residents in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside Counties. The region's mild climate and close proximity to the 91, 710 and 105 freeways make it an attractive place to work as it is centrally located in Los Angeles County.
