Hollydale Winter Concert Brings Music, Joy, and Community Together

Hollydale School’s gymnasium was filled with music, excitement, and holiday spirit on Thursday, December 4, as students from the Orchestra, Band, Choir, and Mariachi programs took the stage for the 2025 Winter Concert. Directed by Ms. Claudia Zuñiga and Music Teacher Ms. Leola Gravley, the evening showcased student talent across all levels—from beginners to advanced performers.

Families and community members enjoyed a rich program featuring classics like Ode to Joy, Winter Wonderland, and festive favorites including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. The Mariachi ensemble brought cultural pride and energy with performances of La Adelita, Los Laureles, and El Rey.

The event also highlighted the collaboration and support of Hollydale’s dedicated staff, counselors, aides, and the PUSD Music Department, as well as valued partners such as Bellflower Music, Morey’s Music, La Casa Del Mariachi, and US Music. Principal Hilda Mapp and Assistant Principal Josephine Contreras expressed heartfelt appreciation to families for their continued support.

With outstanding student musicians, passionate educators, and a supportive community, the 2025 Winter Concert was a joyful celebration of learning, creativity, and holiday cheer.
