NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING WITH RESPECT TO A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REQUESTING OF THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION TO WAIVE THE PARAMOUNT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT’S STATUTORY BONDING LIMIT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 21st day of January, 2026, at the hour of 5:30 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be reached, at the regular meeting place of the Board of Education of the Paramount Unified School District, 15110 California Avenue, Paramount, California 90723, has been set as the time and place at which a public hearing will be held by the Board of Education of the District at which it will consider a resolution requesting the State Board of Education to waive the District’s statutory bonding limit.

At such public hearing any persons interested, including all taxpayers and registered voters within the District, may appear and be heard, and the testimony of all such interested persons will be heard and considered.

NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that a copy of the proposed resolution requesting the State Board of Education to waive the District’s statutory bonding limit may be inspected at the District Office, 15110 California Avenue, Paramount, California 90723, during regular business hours.

AVISO DE AUDIENCIA PÚBLICA RESPECTO A UNA RESOLUCIÓN QUE AUTORIZA LA SOLICITUD A LA JUNTA ESTATAL DE EDUCACIÓN DE EXIMIR AL DISTRITO ESCOLAR UNIFICADO DE PARAMOUNT DEL LÍMITE LEGAL DE BONOS

POR LA PRESENTE SE NOTIFICA que el día 21 de enero de 2026, a las 5:30 p. m., o tan pronto como sea posible, en el lugar habitual de reunión de la Junta de Educación del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Paramount, 15110 California Avenue, Paramount, California 90723, se ha fijado como fecha y lugar para la celebración de una audiencia pública por parte de la Junta de Educación del Distrito, en la que se considerará una resolución en la que se solicita a la Junta Estatal de Educación que exima al Distrito del límite legal de emisión de bonos.

En dicha audiencia pública, cualquier persona interesada, incluidos todos los contribuyentes y votantes registrados del Distrito, podrá comparecer y ser escuchada, y se escucharán y considerarán los testimonios de todas las personas interesadas.

POR LA PRESENTE SE NOTIFICA ADEMÁS que se puede consultar una copia de la resolución propuesta en la que se solicita a la Junta Estatal de Educación que exima al Distrito del límite legal de emisión de bonos en la Oficina del Distrito, 15110 California Avenue, Paramount, California 90723, durante el horario laboral habitual.
