Odyssey STEM Academy Celebrates the Class of 2026

The stands at Paramount High School Stadium were filled with family members, friends, staff, and supporters as approximately 90 seniors from Odyssey STEM Academy crossed the stage to receive their diplomas. The celebration marked the culmination of four years of hard work, perseverance, and growth for students who have embraced Odyssey's motto of Strong Heart, Strong Mind, Strong Will.

Located in the City of Lakewood and part of Paramount Unified School District, Odyssey STEM Academy offers a distinctive educational experience unlike any other small STEM-focused high school in the surrounding area. Throughout their time at Odyssey, students complete rigorous coursework, Advanced Placement classes, internships, mentorship experiences, and public exhibitions of learning. By graduation, every student has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to present, defend, and apply their learning in authentic, real-world settings while building the confidence and skills needed for college, careers, and life.

The achievements celebrated at graduation reflect the school's commitment to deeper learning and student ownership. Through advisory cohorts, mastery-based learning, professional mentoring, and hands-on experiences, Odyssey students are challenged to take responsibility for their success while discovering and pursuing their passions. As the Class of 2026 begins its next chapter, these graduates leave equipped to make meaningful contributions to their communities and prepared to thrive in universities, careers, and beyond.
