Two Paramount USD Schools Earn Recognition as U.S. News Best High Schools
Two Paramount USD schools have earned recognition as 2026–27 U.S. News Best High Schools, highlighting the academic opportunities available to students across the District.
Odyssey STEM Academy and Paramount High School both ranked within the top 40% of nearly 18,000 public high schools evaluated nationally by U.S. News & World Report, earning each school Best High Schools status.
At Odyssey, 98% of students take at least one Advanced Placement exam, and the school ranks #132 in California and #849 nationally. At Paramount High School, 33% of students take at least one AP exam, extending access to college-level learning across a comprehensive high school serving approximately 3,400 students.
The recognition represents only part of the PUSD experience. Across our schools, students are supported through rigorous academics, STEM and career-connected learning, athletics, activities and programs designed to strengthen belonging and prepare students for college, career and life.
